I'm not a fan of how the standard "plowshare" grip feels in my hand, and like the bird-head grip better--the style with the lump at the top that hits the web of my hand. I ordered a bird-head grip and grip frame for a Cimmaron Thunderer. It turned out to be virtually interchangeable, all the holes line up, and the grip frame is steel. I've been thinking about swapping out the trigger guard and ejector tube, as well, to eliminate my related complaint....although what I'd pay in parts would probably induce me to pass the EAA on and just get a Cimmaron Thunderer
