Default There are times it seems like a very small world

Every so often, you experience one of those remarkable coincidences in life.

Yesterday, it was time to replace my pickup truck (a stalwart 2005 Ford F-150). so, taking proper health precautions, I made some calls and stopped down to my practically empty Ford commercial vehicle dealer in Raleigh.

I found the truck I wanted (their stock in hand is remarkable - multiple parking lots full of trucks), put together the deal and proceeded with the paperwork.

The closer doing the contract saw my NRA Instructor T-Shirt, and then asked me if I'd ever heard of his father. Charles Kenyon Jr.....

Of course I have.... His book "Lugers at Random" is in my library.

Talk about a coincidence.

His father is living in Georgia and he and his son are in regular contact.
