Gunshop luger
This post has nothing to do with the subject but I haven't figured out how to start a new one so I will just hook onto this one.
I was in a gun shop today and saw a nice Luger for sale. It was the shop owners gun and he rated it at 95%. I didn't have the heart to tell him it had been reblued. It was stamped 1940 on the receiver and 42 on the toggle. The grip panels were dark brown plastic with a bulls eye on them. He said it had NAZI proof marks but in the dim light they did not appear that way to me. They looked like winged eagles but no swastica. He knows nothing about Lugers but he was busy as a one armed paper hanger so I left with the comment, it is a nice Luger. With my limited description, can some one tell me more about it. He is asking $5000 for it. |
