Editing old item (FAQ thread) fails to include original text

When I edited the FAQ thread item that announces changes to the newly posted FAQ PDF files, the editor lost all of the old content, and just presented a blank screen. This failed with both the basic and advanced editor.

I had to manually copy the old text to the clipboard, and manually paste it back into the editor in order to proceed.

The formatting of CR/LF spacing also changed after the item was saved and displayed. An extra one gets inserted between paragraphs.

Immediately re-editing this entry worked properly except for the extra CR/LF lines. During edit, there is only one extra line between paragraphs, and this expands to two after saving.

This appears to be new behavior after the forum upgrade.
