I found these 2 holsters locally, both have similar push button closures with the familiar pattern we also see on Dutch military equipment for the Dutch East-Indies (KNIL) and on older German equipment.
Still no clue on who actually made these buttons. The left holster is of a soft leather and the silhouette suggests it was used to carry a small revolver. The right one is made of tougher leather, has a magazine pouch and is of the right size to fit a smaller pocket pistol like the Mauser M1910 or something of similar size. No additional markings, but both show their age and the quality of manufacture well. |
