Good questions. How would you have handled it if you were at a gunshow and two guys were interested? Without a "I'll buy it, here is the $", or unless you made an agreement, implied or definite to hold it, then the first to make the agreement and finalize the purchase and put the money in the mail gets the gun. I'm sorry for the disagreement, I do this for fun and don't need hassels. I've lost several "deals" by walking around the show just to see what was there, then came back to see the gun walk away for less than my offer was because of my lack of committment.
