Of course! Every plummer needs something for repairing copper pipes; and in electronic/electric repair; and in gunsmithing.
Tin/lead is the choice -f you have some left;. ![]() Lead is frowned on now and has been replaced with another low melting metal and the solder does not work as well as a result. JMHO. But in the "Dutch" case we are talking about more than 70 years ago so it was the soft solder that was available.
