Will have to look closer at them from now on.
There are many good ones. Different grades of C&R have different major concerns. On higher grade ones, pay close attention on finish. On average ones, force matching, replacement parts are more common. On low ones,,, those are not concern anymore.

Millions of Lugers were made. Even with 1% nice ones left, that's tens of thousands. If there are 10 fine original ones cycling on market every day, there will be 3,000 on market per year, is that a lot? but still takes 10 years to cycle the all nice ones just one round.. If think from this angle, it's easy to understand why there are so many nice ones when variation is ignored.

Assume there are 1,000 serious Luger collectors, each having 30 nice Lugers on average, it's easy to hide 30,000 nice samples in collections, slowly cycling among its collectors year over year.
