I am a new guy here and I have an old shooter Luger that I got from my Grandpa after he died in 1990. I know that that this is a parts gun with the action from one gun and the rest seems to be original and matching.
I haven't shot this since soon after I got it and so it sits in the back of my gunsafe. I just pulled it out and see it needs a good cleaning. I know it is worn, but it has a lot of sentimental value. Hence I will be keeping it back in my gunsafe. I don't know the ownership history, though I am positive my Grandfather had it in the 1950s. He told me he got it during WW2. I can believe he got it at that time, but his story was a bit far fetched so I don't believe the story itself (he was prone to telling tales to get reactions from people). Thanks in advance for any insight. |
