Crazy money on Luger books?

I had the book Luger handbook by arron davis. I paid 8 bucks give or take about 7 years ago or so. It was a book I used to replace Lugers at random that I had sold for 110 can could not replace for under 175 at the time. I decided to get a few of my books back and thought I would start with the newer books like Arron Davis book for I figured 10 bucks on Ebay.

Imagine my surprise when I saw they were asking 150 bucks for a small bad photos crude drawings hand book that was very limited in scope. WTHeck is going on? Its not that good of a book. I checked everywhere and could not find it for less then 50 bucks. I know its out of print but so is a book from 1902 I just bought for 10 bucks. Have any of you run across this kind of thing?
