My thoughts for your friend.

I shall be 33 in April and my love affair for the Luger began with the same squirt guns which the original poster mentioned. I found myself a mismatched 1921 Weimar Republic marked pistol in a Lewiston, Idaho pawn shop in 2002. I bought it and found my way here way back when, I think, Ed you weren't that far away! I left for England to do my MA and PhD and didn't return to the forum until 2011 (I think) when I bought my second one.

The only constant I can think of is that this forum has been full of so much knowledge and full of excellent stories which you have and will undoubtedly continue to share for years to come.
