Default Mauser Luger

Hello all, Just looking for some info on a luger I recently picked up in a barn sale in Vermont. It's a Mauser, Eagle N proofed, 4 3/4 inch barrel, 30 cal. with strawed parts, Blank chamber.
Has a strange serial number 8561 S. From all I can find, it should have a V after the number. With a matching mag.
The blue is in very good shape, about and as far as I can tell it has not been re blued. all numbers match.
Just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of anything like this. I cannot find it in any of the books. I'm not sure what it's worth.
