Horn for buttstocks

Stuff listed not quite wide enough, but source looks promising and I'll check further with them. I think looking into other folks, too, who supply knifemakers is the way to fly. Back in October, at a local gun show, I ran into a fellow who was using horn of various kinds and asked him about that. A lot of his items originated in India, especially the Damascus blades he specialized in. He would get blanks from there and finish them here, adding scales, etc. ...Very affable fellow situated in Upper NY , somewhere. He offered to sell me whatever I needed. Unfortunately, amidst the excitement of chasing "bargains" , I somehow misplaced not only his card, but the lovely Damacus straight razor I had purchased from him , no doubt literally saving my neck in the process!
