Here are my second and current bikes...
My second bike was a 1983 Honda NightHawk 650SC and I waited 33 years before buying it... It was my big "learner" bike... I took the MSF course to refresh my riding and safety knowledge before attempting to ride it on the road... glad I did...
Quite a step up from the first bike... I loved it but it wasn't much of a bike for carrying the wife... very small pillion seat. Sold it to buy my current ride, a 1999 BMW R1100RT. Formerly a California Highway Patrol bike... I removed the rear radio box and installed two-up seating... It currently has 67,000 miles on it and I intend to run it until I no longer feel safe with a bike this heavy... I had always wanted this model bike from the first time I saw one... I am averaging about 10,000 miles a year on it...
