Operating a C&R License

Thanks Tom. I think I need to do more homework. I am under the impression that even if I had a Class 3 C&R, if I bought a Luger at a Las Vegas gun show and brought it back here to California, I would still need to transfer the purchase through a Class 01 FFL dealer in California and I still must undergo a DROS check. If I could avoid having to transfer through a Class 01 dealer for any out of state purchase of any handgun older than 50 years old, then that would certainly be worth it.
