Default Searbar repair!!! The results....... :)

OK guys' heres what happened....after soaking the part in penetrating oil overnight, I found a dental pick and, (just as Hugh and Tom figured!!) I could access the plunger thru the retaining pin hole, and it came free almost immeadiatly!! The previous owner had pushed the plunger (rusty) back into the searbar (also rusty) and then put it up for sale....lucky me! The dental tool worked like a charm, Thanks again to all who contributed...now we know!!

Also, be careful which way the retaining pin hole are facing when you give the searbar a shot of WD-40!! If positioned incorrectly, it will shoot a stream of WD-40 right in your face/mouth etc..... If this should happen to you, immeadiately delute the WD-40....with a cold beer taken internally, I would recommend five to six treatments....if time and finances permit!! Till....later...GT
