Looks like it was heavily rusted and cleaned-then coatd with something.

Notheing related to rougher late rfurt finish.

I would be careful firing it-springs might be equally deteriated.

I have seen barn finds and others like this.

Basically rated as "poor" condition.

Could be a good shooter with good springs.
