I agree with what the other post say and would like to add this; a dealer who KNOWINGLY sells a fraudulent firearm should have his *&^% shot off, but we can't do that. We must learn about our hobby to know what is correct and what is not.

I do love these pistols, but I don't collect the high dollar Lugers. I stay with the more common type which do not need to be faked as the prices are not into the several thousands. You can enjoy collecting Lugers by staying with this type. You should not get "burned", they are well documented so you can know what it is supposed to be!

I also say that even the import marked Lugers have aplace in any collection and they can be purchased at reasonable prices and you know what you are gettting.
