Who is our resident 1906 expert?

I had to go ahead and make an offer or he wanted to get the two guns he wanted to sell back, don't really blame him because it had been two days since he sent them to me. I appreciate those of you that tried to evaluate the pistol based on such poor pictures and my description of the gun.
I know nothing about Lugers but I kind of know guns in general but I can't see where this gun has been altered. Thanks for all the quick responses and offers I can tell that I am amongst "gun people".
