Spring Replacement

I am planning on working up some loads for one or both of my Mauser parabellums. One is in 9mm and the other is 7.65mm. Both of these pistols were used when I bought them and I have no idea how many or what kind of loads went thru them.

Would it be a good idea to replace the mainsprings in both pistols with new Wolff standard(38lb.) mainsprings? Does anyone on here have experience with the Wolff springs in the Luger? I have a set in my 77' P-1 and they work great..........
