about clips

as I wrote earlier I asked if my clips were original with black plastic bottoms on clips with rivets through the concave bottoms, I received a few responces an was asked what is the serial#'s which would tell you guys what I have and would give me more info on my new gun.Also one of my clips there is a missing metal stud on on side of clip which helps pull the spring down, should leave it alone or get it repaired an if repaired will it take away from its value.
