Looked at some Lugers last night, bought a few as well...I'll post those later.
What is the value range (approximation) for an S/42 G date Luger? I should have written down the serial number but didn't. All matching w/ the mag being a "silver" fxo marked mag w/ unnumbered wooden baseplate. I'd say around 95% w/ the strawing turning silverish. Non reblue/Non import. Second Pistol is a 1940 42 code pistol. Again all matching, but with a mismatched magazine being the only drawback. Probably 93 to 95%. Original bluing, nice strawing...wish I'd grabbed the serial number on that one too, but spaced it....again, non reblue/ non import. Thanks for the help guys, I know it's only a guesstimation range w/o photos and a little more info... Chris... |
