Having trouble with the Luger Forum

All:
For the last week or 3 I've noticed that when I bring up the forum the red boxes on the left side are not accurate in regards to the threads that I have or have not already read. For instance there is one under New Collectors that is always marked in red (suggesting that it is a new posting or other members have contributed since I was last there). However when I go to that thread it is the same posts, nothing new. And certain columns such as the For Sale or Wanted colums do not show red on the box to the left side, but if I open that column up there are new posts.
No doubt I am doing something wrong, but the problem seems to be new to me.
I hope I'm not the only one having problems...
