Hello. I'm new to P-08 Lugers and need some help establishing the fair market value of the piece I looked at today. The seller isn't sure of it's value either.
It's a 1939 marked P-08. All of the numbers match except on the toggle, which is also marked Mauser. It has a sear safety. The bluing is nearly perfect, so nice that I expect it was re-blued, but the bore is also very nice. The serial number on the magazine also matches. It looks just like the P-08 Luger in this post: http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthread.php?t=24319 I don't want to steal it from him, nor do I want to pay more than it's worth, so I'm trying to extablish it's fair market value. Thanks for any advice. Moonlitin Last edited by Moonlitin; 10-03-2011 at 12:50 PM. Reason: Spelling |
