First and for most I would like to say hi to everyone and hope to learn a lot!! Now I must ask for some help. This would be my first luger that I have a opportunity to buy. It is a 1937 S-42 it has matching serial #'s except the magazine. He is also selling it with the holster but does not have the tool for it. On the barrel it has the serial number and also 8:83 and a mark that looks like a crown with feathers coming off of it. The frame has the the same # and a fancy "y" on it plus the three markings on it. I am attaching photos please please I am no photographer. I know it is hard to tell me anything about it or what would be a fair price without seeing it but if you can it would be appreciated. I am seriously thinking of buying it. If you need more info I would be pleased to share, if need be I will try to take better pictures. Thank you for your input in advanced.
