Let me the first to wish everyone here that celebrates the 4th of July a fun filled and safe holiday. As for me, I've grew up in an age where we had alleys to play in. Cherry bombs and M-80's were available, of course dad would be the one to decide, because mom would say no way. My dad was a big kid himself, so my brother and I would have some of everything. I've had my turn at lakes, cookouts, swimming parties and firework displays, so it's time for the next generation to take over. My wife and I will spend our 4th at a movie and a quiet evening on the patio with a beer in hand. I hope to see the rest of you back here on the 5th.
God bless America, Harry PS: I grew up in the 50's, the best decade this planet has ever seen here in America. If I could go back and live out my life then, I would do it in a heartbeat. 47 ford convertible with Zebra seatcovers, summer nights smooching at the lake with your girlfriend, drive-in movies more smooching, ducktail haircut and Elvis, life doesn't get any better than that.
