Mauro;

I just joined the Forum as I am now a proud owner of a 30 cal Luger. The information is quite interesting and I would like to add to your database. In reading up on my Luger, which appears to be a 29/70 variant, I am somewhat puzzled. According to Fred Datig, I was expecting the "Original" emblem to have even lettering. My Swiss frame Luger is numbered 10.0017XX and has the usual import marks "Interarms", "FBM", etc and internal scribed numbers. The puzzle comes in that the "Original" emblem appears to be of the prototype style described by Fred Datig where the "a" and "l" do not follow the script of the preceding letters.

Does anyone else have a similar marking for low 20/70 serial number guns?
