New 1900AE & a question

I recently puchased a matching 1900 American Eagle in very good condition. The magazine has been repaired with an aluminum base. I have included a couple of pictures below. Any comments are welcome. I do need a little advice. The extractor seems to be stuck. I can move it a bit, but not fully. Any ideas for fixing this? I sure don't want to force it and damage the extractor.
