1914 DWM magazine question?

Hello, my name is Chris and Im new to this forum, and forums in general. I have a question about a DWM magazine. If a magazine has the matching numbers to the pistol, but no prefix and the pistol does have a prefix after the numbers, is the magazine still considered matching? It is an original magazine from the era, and the Luger is a 1914, in excellent all matching condition, including the grips. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
