Greetings members. This forum is amazing. I never knew it existed till a friend told me about it.
Im looking for information, any information as to the value of a Lugar I got by way of my Dad , a WWII vet. He never looked up the value of it or bothered to find out anything about it. It is a "Black Widow" Lugar. It has a stamp "byf" on top and the number 42 as well. It has the serial number "9217" all over it and even the small parts inside are stamped with "17". With the exception of some "holster" wear, its in perfect condition. It does have the bakelite grips on it as well. Which I guess makes it the Black widow version. The holster is stamped "Dresden 1938" and is also in great shape considering its age. Just one broken belt strap on the back of it. It contains an extra clip as well as a assembly tool inside. Can anyone tell me what it may be worth? Or for that matter, how I find out about more of its history? Thank you very much. |
