1941Police Luger (?)
Hi all, been watching the forum for awhile, finally posting. I have my Dad's Luger he got in WWII. I will post pics. first a little history... One of my Dad's buddies wrote a book of their journey through the war called "The Pride of Willing And Able" by Bill J. Krehbiel. My Dad got the Luger in new condition with holster. (see bottom of the page in pic) I believe its a Police issue. I am NOT selling this piece of my Dad's history .Just thought I would get some expert advise/opinions. I did shoot this 20 or so years ago, great gun. One matching magazine, one does not match number on gun. Holster only has wear from being stored and moved around for 65 years! no crease in the holder for the taken down tool(missing) its a new holster.
I can remember when I was 10 or so my Dad and older brother engraving Dad's drivers license number into all his guns, If I only knew what they were doing!!!!! a shame. I will post more pics in next thread. Mark |
