"Shooter"
As some of you may recall, I have been looking to acquire a Luger to "shoot". Many thanks to those who sent email and offered advice on this subject. I have purchased the pictured Luger, which is a 1938 S/42 rework, that is all matching (except the mag & barrel, of course) and is in pristine condition. I have put 100 rounds of "store-bought" ammo through it, and had not one jam or problem. Although I am not, this Luger is very accurate. I will attempt to bring my abilities up to the Lugers standards.
Although this Luger may not find favor with some, I am quite thrilled with it. Having purchased it through an estate, I am wondering if anyone here recognizes the work? Any information that could be offered and shared would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks to those who offered assistance and advice. Bart http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/1938S42rework.jpg |
