9mm Luger-Moderate Factory Load

I have just about decided to try some Sellier & Bellot ammo, Cheaper than Dirt has it for $6.29 a box of 50 rds. I searched on the internet for some ballistics to see if this is what I wanted. I was looking for a 124 gr loading at around 1200 fps, for about 400 ft-lbs of energy. I found a site where the S&B ammo ballistics were listed: The one I found is at http://www.sb-usa.com/pistol_ammo_page.htm The 124 gr variety went at a speed of 1188 so I was just about there. I check the 30 Mauser of 7.65x25 MM and GEEEZUS PALOMINO!!!! it was cranking out an 85 gr bullet at a sizzlin 1647 fps for an energy level of 514 ft-#s. WOWOWOW! VAS und HOT TAMALE! Don't think I want to drop that baby into an old C96 Broomie with worn springs....ouchola!! ~~~~THOR~~~~
