newbie with questions

FNorm, yes you are correct there is a crown over N at the left receiver
Sieger, thank you for the tip. as you can probably tell I am new to this but I do have a freind who is into shot guns whom I could ask for help in cleaning and oiling and after I get off the forum he's my first call.

Ron, thank you for the suggestions but I think I'm going to keep it for the grand kids as part of our family history.
