On page #2 of "Weimar and Early Nazi Lugers" German Police Acceptance stamps are shown.
I am assuming I have a police Luger because it does have the sear safety, and the left grip is modified to accommodate the magazine safety which is no longer present. It also has the "1920" government property mark. However, I can not find any of the acceptance stamps shown in Still's book. Maybe I just do not know where to look, or maybe not all police Lugers received the acceptance stamp. Could someone please tell me where such a stamp is usually located and do all police lugers have one of the stamps shown on page #2? Thank you, Mauser720 - Ron |
