Default 1936 S/42 - Mixed Parts? Very Large Pics

I have an S/42 that has been in our family for many years. Its marked as a 1936 and all of the markings and serial seem to agree with this.

All of the numbers match except the extractor - which appears to have the number 24 scratched out. The extractor is also the plum color that I believe did not start showing up until 1938.

It also does not have any straw colored parts. They may have been blued after the gun was made, but I have seen several 1936 models that also seem to have a mysterious lack of straw.

I am now asking for any info you can give me on my Luger. It will never be sold, and will probably never be fired. It means a lot to me and I just want to know evertything about it. Thanks for any help! If you need other pictures, let me know. These were my first attempt to photograph a gun, so I apologize for any blems. I really apologize to any dial up users.
