hi everyone. My grandfather was 82nd airborn on d day ww2. He recently passed away and left me his luger. He got it from a dead german soldier on d day. it has a date of 1916 stamped on it and dwm -- also it has a serial number a4331. It has a dark brown/blackish holster, original clip, spare clip, tools and everything. it hasnt been reblued or anything, just kept clean and dry. It hasn't been fired since about 1950 or so, but it has no rust or any kind of corosion,--- there is even some really old ammo which i need to dispose of safely!! anyway i am excited to add this to my military memorabilia collection but would love to find out more info--any ideas?
