Need help identifing a mark on my Luger PIC ADDED

I have a VoPo Luger with a strange mark on the right side of the frame just to the left of the locking bolt. My camera is on the fritz so I hope my description will suffice. The marking is a capital "H" that has the right vertical line of the "H" replaced by and elongated "O". I'm not sure if this is some kind of an East German mark or an earlier mark. The gun is a 1937 dated S/42.

Finally got my camera fixed, pic added.
