I am wrapping up loose ends for my forthcoming book on German police markings and realize that I need a good photo illustrating a double-dated Luger receiver. If anyone can provide one, I will be very grateful and will certainly credit you in the book. What I need is a focused, high-resolution photo of the top of a double-dated Luger chamber. Ideally, the quality of the 1920 stamp should be good but not too good. I want the photo to illustrate the difference between these stamps and factory-applied date stamps. (A 1920/1920 double date might be great for this but I'm not all that picky.) It will probably be best if there is no whitening used in the stamps but I will certainly consider whitened markings.
Please email me at the address below and include your full name as you would like it to appear in the book. Thanks very much for your help.
