Default Project Rennwish Update (or "Where in the world did John go??")

A few of you have asked what's been going on with Project Rennwish (Jen's and my 501c3 - which is actively involved in Haiti). Also - as an aside - I've been tough to reach, as I've been in Haiti quite a bit as of late.

Anyway - in the past few weeks, I launched three new projects:
1) Building a school in a small village for about 250 children for a local Pastor. There are three phases, and the first is nearly complete - and will be dedicated on July 9th (Anyone want to go with me? ) It's however - more than a story about "just building a school". This project has become the catalyst for an entire village. You can read about it here:

http://www.rennwish.org and click on CURRENT PROJECTS and then Pastor Vilnor's School

The second project is a bit more aggressive - building in the next year - a complete technical training facility for over 1200 children. They are mostly orphans from the nearly 700 residents of our partner (Pwoje Espwa). I am pleased to also tell you that we have funded the site preparation and are well on our way to two of the total of ten schools. You can see that here:

The third initiative - is just kind of "fun" - and was put up on the spur of the moment Friday evening before Mother's Day - it's called "Buy Mom a Block" - and we've raised nearly $3,000 in 36 hours...

Since I haven't had a whole lot of time to chat about Lugers on this site - I figured some of you were wondering if I was kidnapped or something.. Nope - just busier than a.. Well - not sure - just been a tad busy!!!
