Default were there Rock Island Arsenal Test Holster

or both right and left handed troops. The reason I ask, was I was comparing my US holster with the the holster pictured on page 420,on Jans newest masterpiece, which appears right handed, but like mines lacks the initials on the bottom of the flap. I wondered what proporation was right or left handed. Ron and others have done a fabulous job with the Test Lugers, which bring me to the next ineitable quiry. Were the holsters that were made in America the only left-handed luger holsters. What if Goering was left handed. Has a holster non-custom ever surfaced?? Ill have to ask our leather guru, Jerry Burney, a true expert and gentleman!
