Default 1917 dated 1914 DWM Navy Mauser rework questions

I have a 1917 dated 1914 Navy that I believe was reworked for WWII by Mauser. It has a 4" barrel, and a fixed sight rear toggle. The gun is all matching except the extractor, sear, and magazine. The barrel has a 42 on the bottom along with the serial number (not a restamp), and a very small "three wing eagle" with either 63 or 53 underneath. Would this be properly called a 1914 Navy Mauser Rework or just a parts gun? It has all the proper Navy (Marine) proof marks and the 1917 on the chamber and on the left side of the receiver.
