Good Evening Members!
Here's another Navy I'd like to show. DWM P.04 Model 1906 1st Issue Altered S/N 8662. Navy magazine is one number off from matching. Unit marked on back of grip strap â?? I.T.D 612â? or â??Erste Torpedo Division Weapon Number 612â? or First Torpedo Division Weapon Number 612. According to Stillâ??s â??Imperial Lugersâ?, 1994, a total of 460 1906 Variation of the Navy Luger were reported with 208 being unit marked and out of the 208, 13 were unit marked First torpedo Division. The holster is a Type 1 Navy and is "1914" dated and maker stamped. Surprisingly, the cleaning rod ears have survived but the brass stud has not. The mag pouch is Portugese "AE" marked and is present as a representative piece. The straps are reproduction. The cleaning rod is a wood swivel barrel with a brass tip and is unmarked. The takedown tool does have a C/M. The shoulder board stock is non-matching. It has a large C/M in the wood and a smaller C/M on the disc. |
