Default Luger lore

Hi Tac, I dissagree! I have alway enjoyed you posts on Lugers and I read them with interest, both for your viewpoint, and knowledge on all aspects of firearms use and history... I think your response and opinion on the above Luger very well stated and accurate.. And with that being said...I have a question for you that breaks off in a little different direction... What know you of the famous "Sykes Fairbairn" fighting knives... I have just started collecting them and was amazed at the price that some of the early ones are commanding.... Did you carry one in the Falkland islands war, if so, was it issue or private purchase?... or were they obsolete?? Best to you Tac, and all, til...lat'r...GT
