Indeed, stranger things have happened and I for one would not use surplus Nato 9mm ball as a main supply of ammo. I'll try and see if I can find some ballistic info on this more recent stuff. The Dutch KNIL ruined a lot of pistols using the 9mm ammo loaded for the Sten in the late 1940s, so I know it happened in the past as well. Can't be too careful! |
