ERIC,esq, was reading the fabulous test results and history in the, Springfield Armory National Historical Site, which is a must read, I noticed that the luger written about, entitled, 'GERMAN PISTOL MODEL 1900, 7.65MM SN#7018 but contained in the lugers' markings is as follows: Barrel: #6196, Frame: #7018 Slide: U.S. Army style eagle. Toggle: DWM (script0, 77. Takedown lever: 18, Side plate: 15, 'Weapon transferred to the Museum in May, 1911, Im confused, which serial number is controlling, You would think a luger givin to the army for testing, would have matching serial numbers. Mine does, #6786, I invite any comments, They had to have their pick,
