You know, you can actually read the laws of our towns, cities, counties, states and the federal laws too, just like people who go to law school and become lawyers do. Or you can read about the laws. Any good attorney will tell you that, "the law is the law," not what they say about it in newspapers, magazines, or on the radio and TV. We might call all that other stuff legal legends or myths. There are people who believe all kinds of things are perfectly legal, that are not. And that's just one of the reasons so many attorneys are able to make a good living.

Same goes for science. Only you can't go out and hire a scientist to try and make everything right again after messing things up, like you sometimes can with the law and a good attorney.
