Here's an early production (note the thumb piece) S&W Model 37 that I've had in my possession for several months, but have yet to take to the range. At the time what I really wanted was a S&W Model K-22 with 4 inch barrel and target sights, of about the same age (from the early to mid 1950s), but they went together.
(Yeah, I know it's over exposed, 'cause you can't even begin to make out the S&W medallion in the grip. The photo I took at the same time of the K-22 is even worse, or I'd have posted it too. I leave a camera set on "auto" and this is what I get.)
