Thanks for the test David, The one negative thing (I heard) about WD-40 on guns is that it thickens after time, so it might not be as good a lubricant as it is a preservative. Since you have used it for such a long time, have you ever noticed this? You probably clean and oil your guns too often to notice if it's true or not. Mike C.
