![]() German P. 08 Luger Presentation Pistol: 1916 DWM Lugar with gold filled engraving on left side frame as follow: "ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENZEIT 13.3.16 13.3.36" also on side plate are initials "GF" on top of left side of frame: engraved "UFFZ 6/Pz Regt 2". Pistol is overall excellent shape with good bore comes compete with two matched magazines (wood bottom) in presentation wood box with WWI Iron Cross inletted into lid of box. Box has hand painted presentation: "FUR TREUE DIENSTE 20 1916-1936" in gold leaf outlined in black. Fitted box has blue velvet lining with WWI ribbon in upper left corner with Nazi Party Pin fastened. Metal skull & Crossbones insignia of tank regiment also affixed to bottom of fitted case. Case lining somewhat faded but does not detract. Pistol has gold eagles & swastika inletted into both wood grips very much like those found on SS daggers. The following parts are also gold plated: Trigger, Safety, Take down lever. Magazine release two grip retaining screws. All engraving has gold wash to highlight letters. Still in very good overall condition. Best of all it comes with capture papers specific to: "pistol in wood box" Serial #, dated June 27, 1945 with two other items listed.
